It's real clever to ask for ID verification, usually the steps needed to be able to have a proper ID to show, along with verification of your username etc show some responsibility. When I first saw it I was all for it

You may have not filled the application requirements correctly or it may have been denied. Admins will wait for a few applications to come through to accept/deny, and I was accepted after approx 24 hours after sending an application two days ago.
